Four of the mission projects adopted at the 2009 national convention in Ottawa have just been paid.
Thai evangelists - $6,000
Sewing school support in Chinandega, Nicaragua - $12,000
Costa Rica mission outreach - $35,000
Dneporpetrovsk, Ukraine mission supplies - $6,000
Rev. Leonardo Neitzel, Assistant to the President for Missions and Social Ministry for LCC, expressed thanks: "We thank you for your tremendous efforts in supporting the mission projects of the Lutheran Church-Canada, and we pray that the Lord continues to strengthen you and to shower the bountiful blessings of His Holy Spirit upon LWMLC."
A fifth mission grant has now been paid.
